link excel data to a visio 2002 professional shapes

I made a link between a excel file and a visio drawing, but I have to execute two macros each time to refresh the drawing. After I created two shapes so with a double click I execute the macros "update database" and "refresh with database values" (in Format/behavior/double click/execute macro, on secondary button of mouse) but it don´t work. Can someone help me?
