link excel to word

Our office does a lot of linking excel to word. In my
word document, all my excel links seem fine except for
one. It is cutting off about 6 lines from the excel
spreadsheet in the word document. There is ample room for
the rest of the spreadsheet to be displayed. I don't know
what to do to fix it and I need it pretty quickly.
To do my linking, I go to paste special, paste link,
Microsoft excel worksheet object.
Thanks.

Try pasting two separate links... cutting the document essentially in two
pieces.

Thank you - I would have never thought to try that. It is
a great workaround. I would love to know how to fix it
though. Appreciate your time :)

Hi Angie,

Exactly what Word might do with Excel objects depends to
quite an extent on the version of Office involved, which
you don't mention...

Put in very simple terms, there's an upper limit to the
number of rows and columns Word accepts for display in an
Excel object in Word 2000 and earlier. There really isn't
any way around this, except that - SOMETIMES - copy in
Excel as a picture and pasting in Word as a picture tends
to be more stable.
I would love to know how to fix it
though.
