After applying note flags in OneNote 2007 and gathering many such flagged
paragraphs, I cannot identify the sources of the flagged paragraphs. I would
like quickly to get back to the source, if for no other reason than to cite
it.
I have tried hypertext linking the flagged paragraph to the source page in
OneNote. This works as long as I am careful not to leave a space between the
text in the paragraph-to-be-flagged and the hyperlink. The only real problem
is that doing this is boring and time-consuming. So much so, that for me it
is worse than simply hunting down the source.
Am I the only user who wants to link flagged notes to source page? I would
have guessed this was a common if not typical need. [But if anyone recalls, I
seem to have guessed wrong about a similar kind of matter before.] I think
OneNote needs an option automatically to supply source links within OneNote
as is does to web pages. I would think this simple to implement, given the
web capability, but what do I know?
