Link on WORD does not work - Word 2007

Clicking(Ctrl+Click) on a URL in WORD text returns the following message:

This operation has been canceled due to restriction in effect on this
computer.

It used to be working but recently the above started happening.
Disabling virus and spyware softwares does not have any effect on this
problem.
Could anyone help?
