Link Opening (Window Options)

I have a fairly simple question, that hopefully has a simple answer. I'm a
big RSS User and when I scroll through the feeds it gets very annoying when I
click a link -->IE opens up -->Connects/shows page-->Click back to Outlook to
do it all again.

Is there any way that email/rss feed links open in IE in the background and
do not bring IE up as your active layer? Thanks much

None that I'm aware of. you can download the full content but that really
doesn't help your problem any - you still need to open it in the browser if
you want full functionality. Or you can find a nail utility that you can
use to keep outlook always on top.

FWIW, Outlook's RSS is not very good for power-rss users.

Thanks for the info. Your Outlook/RSS Comment sparked another question as
well, I've always been fairly satisfied with Outlook's RSS aggregator, what
other readers are you speaking of that are better suited? Thanks

Almost any one that is not integrated in Outlook. :) Most dedicated RSS
readers are better.

I had a similar usecase. I would like Outlook to display the full content
inside Outlook instead of giving link to "View Article". If that is not
possible, is there a previewer available to display html files. Like you have
previews for Office files.

BTW - what OS do you use? You may need to install handlers - see
http://www.azarfamily.org/previewhandlersforwindowsxp if you use winxp.

http://www.azarfamily.org/MSDNPreviewHandlers.zip has some handlers for
vista that are not included in the OS.

preview pane.
