link or ref to saved word files created with access data

I have an access database which opens a word template document and populates
with data in to bookmarks and a table. Once the user is finished they then
save this as a word docuement on either the local or network drive. Is there
any way of adding a reference or link to the location of the saved word file
in the access database for the record from which the data came from.
