Link outlook between two locations that aren't networked?

I need to link access to calenders & email between two locations. I do
remember seeing something on MSN utilizing a web connection...

One good option for you is to subcribe for the MSN account with the
Connector Access.

The MOOL (Micrsoft Outlook Live) account will help establish this sync
between webmail and Outlook too (Just like an OWA for an exchange server).
