Link Project file to Access Database?

I have developed an access database that reviews MS project data but the
trouble is I have to export the project data from MS Project into Excel then
load the spreadsheet into the access database. Is there anyway I can get the
access mdb to directly link to the project mpp without having to do anything
else?

You can save the MS Project schedule directly into an access database.
The database format information is included on the installation CD.

Thanks, I have tried this but access won't reconigise the file format....If
I am saving from Project 2000 does it default the file to an Access 2000 mdb?
If so i am trying to open it with Access 97....
