Link Project task to Word doc

I want to insert a link in a task to a document related to the task, so I can
open the doc immediately whenever I want to work on the task. (For instance,
open my Resume when working on the task "Revise resume." I figured out how
to imbed the word doc in the task, but that seems cumbersome. Any
suggestions? Thanks

Using hyperlinks is a pretty good way.
If the file is local to your machine you can use file://<path to your file>

Thanks, Jack! I have never used a hyperlink to a word doc before. I
inserted the path in the notes section of the Project task. When I click on
it, I get two security warning messages, and when I click OK on both of them
nothing happens. Suggestions?
