As I understand it, Access is currently not able to have a linked table where
the source is a DYNAMIC named range in Excel. Yes, it works fine using
regular named ranges but using a dynamic named range that has the format of
='Raw Data Input'!$A$1:OFFSET('Raw Data Input'!$A$1,COUNTA('Raw Data
Input'!$A:$A)-1,COUNTA('Raw Data Input'!$1:$1)-1)
When I do this in Excel it causes the named range to be excluded as an
option in Access. That's very unfortunate for me because I use a LOT of
named ranges in my spreadsheets. Is this a feature that will ever be added
to Access? Does anyone know a good workaround?
Thank You
