Hi All

I am new to the VBA hence don't understand all the jargon. I have an access
database which has one of the tables linked to an excel spreadsheet which
changes every month ( I mean the name of the file, not the location). What I
am looking for is, if possible please, can I have a code to re-link the
tables to the excel spreadsheet with a prompt to find the new file. I don't
need to save this file any where else, as it is already saved on our network.
Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee bear in mind I dont understand VBA jargon so if you
asked me to copy and paste and code, along with that please also tell me how
and where to do that (MODULE, MACRO OR FORM). I am really very desperate, as
I have been looking on the web for last 3 days. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Helppppppppppppppppppppppppppp.

Thanks in advance.

I may be missing something, but since you apparently don't need to save the
"old" Excel file, why not just replace the "old" one with the new one,
giving it the same name. That way, Access wouldn't have to look for
anything new...

Or maybe I really am missing something!
