Hi,
I use Word 2002 under Windows XP.
Say I have two documents: A and B.
How can I link from document A to a specific paragraph in document B?
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
David

Hi, David.

Both documents have to be saved and it only works with Word documents.... In
document 'B' highlight the place where you want to arrive and go to
Insert/Bookmark and give it a name. Anything will do.

In document 'A' highlight the point where you want to place the hyperlink.
Go to the hyperlink button on the toolbar (or Insert/Hyperlink on the menu
bar) and in the top scroll box browse to the document and select it. Then
click on the Browse button below "Name location in file". You should see
your bookmark. Select it and hit OK.OK.

Hope this helps.

BTW this is in Office 97, it may be slightly different in 2000, but I don't
think so.
