link to: Excel in cross-platform environments

Recently there's been many questions related to Excel workbooks exchanged
between Macintosh and Windows. See the following link for common answers
(that's a very long link, so be sure to copy everything before pasting in
the browser's address bar)

(In Entourage and some other Mac newsreaders, no copying or pasting is
necessary - just click the hyperlink. You'll know if that will work if you
seen the entire URL, from start to finish over the 3 lines, blue and
underlined. For many Mac apps, you can ensure it will work by putting the
URL within <angle arrows>. That, to my surprise, didn't even seem be
necessary for Entourage 2004. And it won't work in Windows apps.)

Like this:

04&type=howto&article=/mac/LIBRARY/how_to_articles/officex/xl_crossplatform.
xml>

In Entourage, if you hit a dead but valid lick, command-click it. That
always works.
