I've just reinstalled my Powerpoint 2000 (the slideshow was too slow loading
into memory). When I first ran it after the reinstall, my firewall informed
me that Powerpoint was trying to contact an IBM.COM web site (see the details
below). I did not allow it. But I would like to know: Why is a Microsoft
product trying to link to IBM.COM?
