LInk to Note, such a mess

I just added a note to a message. I now right click on the message, but do not see the path for the note. Where is it?
Does anyone agree that way Entourage handles adding notes to messages is really clumsy and non intuitive?

When message is open, click on the Link icon. Select Open Links. Voilà!
There is your note.
