Linked Data - Adding Row

I have data linked between two worksheets in the same workbook. When I add a
row on the 1st sheet - it does not add one on the linked one....is there a
way to do this? Is "linking" not what I want to do?

Not sure I have understand. You have two sheets and if you add row/column to
the 1st one you also want the row/column to be added the the 2nd sheet?
If so you can achieve this:

Click the sheet tab (usually name as sheet1) and while holding SHIFT click
the on the second sheet tab ( usually name as sheet2) This will select both
sheets and generally said what you will do on one it will be automatically
done on the second as well.
(there are some cases where this is not true-like writing formula etc... But
for adding/removing colunms and routine tasks it works fine)

Then do not forget to click somewhere else to deselct the 2 selected sheets
(otherwise the same task you perfom on sheet1 will be done in sheet2)
