Linked/Embedded files (Excel in Word)

I'm using Word and Excel 2003. When I try to link or embed an excel file
into a word template the sizing is all wrong.

I'm creating a single page document in Excel that fits perfectly when
printed onto headed paper loaded into the printer. However, if I link
to/embed the Excel document in the same Word file from which I get the headed
paper it no longer fits onto the page but overhangs legth and widthways.

How do I stop the linked image resizing as I'd like to be able to email the
document rather than print them out and scan them back.
