Linked Excel Graphs No Longer Update in Word

Hi,

I have several reports I produce in Word that have always had linked Excel
grpahs in them that never had issues updating. Now I cannot update on my PC
in Word - I can when I open the files on other PCs, just not mine. I tried
disabling firewall and antivirus etc, also I can see the links listed and
even open the graph to edit - I can make a change, close the sheet and try to
update the graph in word and it doesnt do anything, no error etc, I cant
update. Anyone know if this is a known SP3 problem and if so if there is a
fix? Or is there some simplistic button somewhere in Word that needs to by
checked? I even went to another PC that did allow for updating and copied
down all of the checked boxes in Word options to make sure the same were
checked on mine and still doesnt work. Any ideas?

I also have this problem. I can update the excel file, save it, close out of
it, and then open up the word document and the word file does not have the
updated information. I double click the table and the updated excel files
open. Any ideas as to what is causing this?
