Linked graphics still pointing to hard drive

I did the following:

1 - created a Word doc in a folder.

2 - added a bunch of graphics to the folder.

3 - in the Word doc, linked to the graphics.

4 - copied the whole bit up to a network share drive.

The people on the network share drive can't see the graphics. Is Word
pointing to my hard drive?
