I am working on a publication where instead of embedding a photo I am linking
to save file size. The images are all either 300 dpi .tiff or .jpg. I have
noticed that when the jpg are embedded they are very clear, however when I
create the link they are a tad bit fuzzy. When I print they look ok. Is
this normal. I want the final to be clear, should I have to embed each
image? The tiff appear to display fine after the link. I know tiff is a
better image for commercial printing, however I was hoping I could get out of
converting all of my .jpg to .tiff because of the size. I will be sending
the final version in a pdf to the publisher for printing. Will this be Ok,
or is something wrong with my jpg.
