Linked object issue?

Hi,

I'm trying to create a front sheet in Visio that pulls information from
other sheets in the same visio document.

I can copy and "paste special" into word and link the object so it reflects
any changes made to the visio document. However, I'm unable to re-produce
this success when linking within the same document.

Just to clarify:
I'd like to have one front sheet with my final drawing borders on (sheet 1),
that will pull my drawing (on sheet 2), my parts list (on sheet 3) and my
wiring schematic (on sheet 4).

Any ideas on how to achieve this?
