Linked Project Plans

I have several Enterprise Projects that are linked to one another. As we put
it actuals, it does not appear that dates are shifting based on the links. In
fact, they are not moving at all. Do all of the projects have to be opened at
one time in order for the dates to shift?

Make sure that you have calculation set to Automatic in Microsoft Project
Professional (Tools - Options - Calculation). Also, make sure that the
cross-project linking options are set in each predecessor or successor
project by opening each project, clicking Tools - Options - View, and then
selecting either the "Show Links Between Projects dialog on open" option or
the "Automatically accept new external data" option. When you enter actuals
in a predecessor project, the dates will shift accordingly in each successor
project when the successor projects are opened the next time. Hope this
