Linked Spread Sheet with Access but not working

Hi,

a) I linked spread sheet in Access 97 database.
b) trying to import data from linked table
c) all fields of access table (where I am importing data) are set to Text
(255)
d) I am writing codes on button click event to import data in Access table
from Excel linked sheet.

Question:
I am getting error "3349" Numeric field overflow.
but only in those rows where I have "#Num!" in the column (I don't have
that thing in spread sheet but when I open Excel linked table in access
database it pops up)

PLEASE HELP ME HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM??
