linked sql server table

i have a linked sql server table through an ODBC
every time i open the table it prompts me for the password
in the ODBC itself i can't get a password to be saved

i don't want to have to enter the password everytime i
turn around

what can i do?

1. Check with the DBA (database administrator).
Ask the DBA if they did anything to prevent saving an Access password.
(They can- but not many do.)

2. Delete the link.
3. Re-create it manually.
4. When you get to the screen where all the tables are listed:
STOP!!
There is a SavePassword checkbox.
Check it.

5. Now select some tables.
6. Close and re-open Access.
7. You should be able to open a table without entering a password.
