Hi,
I have a database that exports a few tables into another database by a make
table. That other database is in a shares so that others can utilize the
tables through excel. I have several excel spreadsheets linked to that access
database, I have done this before but the only difference I did this time was
I set up the excel files to refresh data on file open in the "External Data
Range Properties". I have went back to my previous way which was a macro that
just refreshes the data upon clicking the macro through a button.
Now when I go to do my make tables or open up the Access database in my
shares I am only allowed read only.
"The database 'xxxx' is read-only"
"You won't be able to save changes made to data or obejct definitions in
this database"
Is there a way I can get back normal access???
