Linked Table Manager Question

Is there any easy way to "force" Access to re-link
tables? I frequently help marginally computer literate
people run the Linked Table Manager over the phone, but
can't go through it step-by-step with them since it has
already correctly linked files on my computer.

Checking the box to 'Always Run Linked Table Manager' or
whatever it says doesn't seem to make any difference.

I do understand that I can re-name files or move them
elsewhere to activate the manager, but for a variety of
reasons would prefer not to do this.

so that your users can re-link tables without going through the menu
