I have inserted a linked table object into Word 2003. The table object size
is approximated 7" tall by 6.8" wide. I edit the object so that the width is
set to 6.5". When I update the table, either automatically or manually, the
table is squeezed so that the width is 6.17" and the height is increased. The
interesting thing is that if I change the setting for lock aspect ratio and
update the link, it continues to squish th object. If I toggle the aspect
ratio again and re-update it continues to squish the object further.
I just want to dynamically link a table and have it stay at 6.5" wide when I
update. As far as I know I have all the service packs installed. Any ideas?
