I have a master database that works off linked tables
from 5 other databases. These individual database all
have the same named tables, so when I link them to the
Master Database (MDB) I add 1,2,3,4 and 5 to the end of
each linked table to know from which individual database
they come from.
This worked fine until I had to relink the tables. I
used the Link Table Manager, it says tables were relinked
successfully, but then the master database closing by
itself and a new file shows up in My Documents that has
the name "Access Locked File".
Is the problem that I changed the names of the linked
tables? If so, what can I do to link these 5 tables with
the same name?
thanks for any advice
