Linked Tables Do Not Contain Any Fields

I have just installed Office 2003 PRO on new Win XP SP2 partition. I have
some tables in back end Access 2003 dbms, and another front end Access 2003
dbms with linked tables to back end. When I try to fire a new Data Access
Page in design mode in front end, I can only see names of linked tables with
plus sign next to them, but no fields. Tried to register Accwiz.dll as per
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 835519, but get error message not possible
to register. My installation folder has number 8.1 and not 8.0 in it. Also
tried applying SP1 to Office Pro, but that did not help either. Would welcome
any help with this issue. Many thanks for your time.
