Linked tables problems

I recently upgraded from Access XP to 2003. Since the
upgrade I am having problems creating links back to dbf
files. In the past I could right click choose link
tables choose a dbf file and it would work. Now I get
the error Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find
object. Make sure it exists and that the name is spelled
correctly. I know it is because I clicked on the file.
I am using dbase 5 when choosing the file of type.
