Hi,

I'm using an MDB that has to connect to several MDE's.
I have worked out the automatic creation of all those links in VBA
This works fine, but only if the MDE's are not opened at the same tim
by another user. So, I have to ask at those people to close their MD
...

Is this a normal behavior?
Is there a workaround?

No, unless those people have the MDE open in Exclusive Mode.

Or, unless you are trying to create Exclusive links.
