Linked Tables

After a database is already created, how do you go into the design view of a
linked table and make changes. I want to add another feild to a table and it
says: "This property cannot be modified in linked tables".

You need to modify it in the database that the linked table is linked
to.

If you split the database then you have a back-end somewhere. If you
go into the linked-table manager it will show you the unc address of
the file.
