linked tasks among different project files

I have a project that only contains links to tasks in other files, when I reopen the project a message tells me that the source file is not available. If I open the Links Dialog Box and try to reenter the file by using the 'Change source' button, it tells me that the file is an invalid source.

What files are you linking to? If you move, rename or over-write a file on
either end of the link you may we corrupt one or both files, so remove the
link before doing any of these actions.
