I have a client who uses MS Access 2000 on XP Home Edition. Ordinarily I can
utilize the Linked Text Manager to pull in and arrange text files but
suddenly it is giving a File X:\DataFolder\Order.txt contains no data".
Thinking it may have been an individual problem with the database or the
text file itself, I tried it with a blank database as well as using other
text files. It gives off the same message. Also, I brought the original
text files to my machine and the Linked Text Wizard works perfectly. I have
Office 2003 with XP Home.
As an aside, the linked table wizard does pull in Excel files just fine.
I've checked all over the web for this particular problem and have found
nothing so far.
