Linking 5 databases

dellero

Hi, i'm not sure where to put his question as its awkward, so i hope this is
the right place.
i.ve created 4 databases to track students progresses. but i dont want the
staff to see 4 databases i want one database to at as a"front page" if you
like

E.g. the staff open a database and see a switchboard with Yr8, 9, 10, 11 and
click on the appropriate link.

i hope i have explained myself well enough.

Time to reconsider your design. If you have created a separate Access
database for each year, you have created ... a spreadsheet!

If you want to get the best use of Access' features and functions, you need
to feed Access relational data, not spreadsheets. If "normalization" and
"relational database design" are new terms, check the resources at Jeff
Conrad's site:
