Linking a picture to a Table and then printing the picture in a Report

Jomo Willacy

I am trying to link many different pictures to my table -
I have succeded in doing this. Now I am trying to
generate a Report that prints out the Linked pictures.
Currently the report prints out the name of the linked
file and shows you the file icon. However it does not
print out the picture - the contents of the file.

Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

There are sample databases at http://accdevel.tripod.com that illustrate
three approaches to handling images in Access. Similar approaches can be
used with reports (code that would be in the OnCurrent event of a Form
should be in the OnPrint event of a Report). Check also the information at
MVP Stephen Lebans' site, http://www.lebans.com about pictures in reports.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that it appears you are using OLE Frames, and
possibly storing your pictures as OLE Objects with linked files, and that
you should look at the other two approaches in the sample databases at
http://accdevel.tripod.com.
