Linking a sound clip to a specific cell

I want to link a sound clip of a cash register to a cell
on an Excel spreadsheet. Does anyone know how to do
this? I want the cash register to sound every time I
enter a value in the spreadsheet. (I think the humor is
obvious). Thanks.

Sounds like a job for a "Change Event" macro.......that is, "whenever a
value is entered into a cell it triggers a macro to start", and the macro
could run your sound clip.......I'm not a VBA person so I can't write it for
you, but if you don't get an answer here, you might try posting in the
microsoft.public.excel.programming newsgroup......
