linking access database to visio

i have created a floor plan with each workstation and printer being used. i
have a data base with information on each workstation, ie. name, ip address,
serial number, software installed, ram, etc. what i am trying to accomplish
is linking that data with each workstation within my visio creation. so that
if i click on the workstation and it will bring up the information on that
specific machine. i have tried a few suggestions that i have found on the
internet but i keep coming up to a dead end.

datalinking is supported in v2007 professional.

but from what i understand you can not have more then one link on a object. i
have visio 2007. is there a way to pull up the external data once you have
gone though the data link process

Ah, but you CAN have multiple links per shape in Visio 2007 Pro.
The data is visible in the External Data Window
