Linking Access to Excel comments

Does anyone know of a way to link an Access table to an
Excel spreadhseet comments box?
I am trying to link the comments box of an Excel
spreadheet to a table in Access.
I am trying to do this and have completely come unstuck,
any suggestions as to how to go about this would be a
great help.

Don't know how to link to the comments, but you can open the EXCEL file and
read the comments from the cell (using Automation).

Ken,
Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into the
automation and maybe have a complete rethink about the
whole concept. It would be to create a floorplan and then
have data from the Access table displayed when the mouse
is moved over items on the floorplan.
