Linking and sycrhronization issues

I have a few questions about linking to, and synchronizing with Groove
content using Groove 2007 beta:

I would like to know if there is any way to externally link into Groove
documents from other applications, in about the same way as it is possible to
link into all Lotus Notes content?

I also would like to know if there is any possibility (out-of-the-box,
programmatically, or third party) to sync between the Groove SharePoint file
archive and the local PC, to get interal links between documents stored in
the archive working?

Hi Mattematikk

Am I right in thinking Your posting boils down to two questions -

1: Can I link into Groove Forms data and Groove Files (including Sharepoint
Files) data from outside Groove?

2: If so, can I work out how to make sense of Groove links in the content?

For question 1, there are two ways of doing it: Groove Web Services, and
Toucan Bambuco.

If you are an experienced software programmer, you can use Groove Web
Services (GWS) to work with the content of Groove Files, Calendar and Forms
tools. There's a developers kit with a few examples, but none for the files
tool.

If you're not a programmer, but able to write script code, we've got a new
product that makes it easy to work with your Groove content.

GWS Examples: Hugh Pyle has posted a number of Groove Forms demos. See
http://blogs.msdn.com/hughpyle/archive/tags/Forms+Demo/default.aspx Each of
his examples adds up to a full overview so look at the earlier ones first.

For a complete Bambuco example see
http://www.infopatterns.com/media/13780/files3/GrooveForms/Getting_Data_out_of_Forms_tools-txt.html

For question 2: Can you clarify what kind of links you ave in mind? Are you
talking about Groove links in for example a rich text field in a forms tool,
or some kind of Sharepoint link?

Hi and thanks for trying to answer my question!
It gave new views about the problem, but did not quite solve the problem.

About the first issue: I wonder if there is any way to, by the use of a
link in an external document (like a word document) link directly to a
document stored in a FileFolder within in a Groove workspace (like the
SharePoint files library).

About the second issue: How is the Bambuco script engine available? Is it
downloadable or for sale? Do you have scripts for full synchronization also,
to and from SharePoint libraries?
One of the reasons I need this is because I have a lot of MindManager
mindmap documents linking to each other. The links works in SharePoint
webpages, but not in the Goove SharePoint library, because each time I
locally open a document from the Groove SharePoint library it is copied to a
temporary file, which breaks the relative links to the other mindmaps.

Cheers,

MD
