Linking cells

I want to link a cell in one workbook to a cell in another
workbook. I highlight the cell in the origin workbook,
then click the cell where I want the link to appear, and
click "paste special". But then I can not click on "paste
link". How do I link these cells together so when the
origin cell changes, it changes in the other workbook?

With both workbooks open, do Window / Arrange / Tiled. Clcik on the cell you
want the linked data to appear in and type =, then using the mouse click on the
cell you want to link it to. Then hit Enter.
