Linking Contact List in OL2002 with OLEXP 6 for use

Previously used WIN98SE w/OLEXP6 and MSOfficeBusEd2000
(OL 2000). I could access my OL2000 contact folder and
subfolders OLEXP6 as they were pulled down selection on
the To Menu when I created New Mail message. I did NOT
have to create pab or wab files as I simply used the pst
contact file folder. I have multiple internet email
accounts setup on OLEXP6 and I was able to view and
select the OL2000 contact folders/subfolders/contacts
directly from my OLEXP6. I switched to WIN XP Pro OS and
installed MSOffice Pro/Front Page XP. I have
imported/copied my contact folder/sub-folders/contacts
into my OL2002. I can't seem to now find the setting or
config the OLEXP6 setup to interface or recognize the
contact folders in OL2002 so I can use them. I don't
want to generate another address list to maintain, one
(pst file) is enough. Again, I was able to do this
before, why not now? Doesn't the Office Pro/Front Page Xp
(OL2002)allow for interface/link the pst contact folders
between OLEXP6 and OL2002? Will purchasing the MS Office
Bus Ed 2003 with Business Contact Manager solve my
problem? Thanks in advance for your assistance and
support.

Hi David,

Purchasing the Business Contact Manager will not resolve this issue. The compatibility between
Outlook Express and Outlook have been removed in Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003. There is another
option that may help. There is a suggested registry hack at www.slipstick.com. This site is very useful
as it is managed by Outlook MVPs.

To address your issue specifically, please go to:
http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/oeshare.htm

The reg hack is listed here and you might find some other helpful alternatives to resolve your issue.
