Linking Contact to Event doesnt show proberly

K

kim m

Using Vista Home Premium with Office 2007
When I Link a Contact shortcut to a Calendar event (by Insert/Attach Item or
by dragging & dropping) it does imbed properly, the shortcut graphic is
located up underneath the top horizontal ruler bar of the event, when i pull
down a corner or the bottom edge of the graphic i can see it stretching, but
it rebounds when i release.
This also happens sometimes when i copy and paste an website or emailed
graghic into a Calendar event.
Yes, I have the Contacts option at the bottom of an event page, but i want
to fix this issue because it may relate to other operations of convenience.

No, i cannot resize or change the settings when i right click, there is no
option available.

FYI: The second sentence should have read'"...does NOT embed properly...".
The second posting is corrected, sorry for the confusion.

I did get the following pop-up window while trying to 'link' a Contact to an
Event:
Microsoft Office Outlook
Some objects contain viruses that can be harmful to your computer. It is
important to be certain that this object is from a trustworthy source.
Do you trust this embedded object?

This pop-up window is confusing to me, the source is Contacts within Outlook.

Are you using a custom form? I've never seen that message.

You are aware you can link (using the Contact field), rather than embed,
contacts to other items? This way you always get updated info when you need
to view the contact.
