Linking Contact to Event doesn't show properly (corrected post)

Using Vista Home Premium with Office 2007
When I Link a Contact shortcut to a Calendar event (by Insert/Attach Item or
by dragging & dropping) it does not imbed properly, the shortcut graphic is
located up underneath the top horizontal ruler bar of the event, when i pull
down a corner or the bottom edge of the graphic i can see it stretching, but
it rebounds when i release.
This also happens sometimes when i copy and paste an website or emailed
graghic into a Calendar event.
Yes, I have the Contacts option at the bottom of an event page, but i want
to fix this issue because it may relate to other operations of convenience.
