I am currently working for a client who uses one Outlook account for all her small business and personal e-mailing needs. That being said, her contact folder contains approximately 1,000 contacts, which include both her personal and business related contacts. She is using Outlook 2007 with Exchange, so we have the ability to share contact folders, but she only wants to share her business contacts and not her personal contacts.
This would be FINE, if she didn't have a large overlap of personal and business contacts.
I'm not sure as to the best way to go about solving this issue. I was thinking that I could create two folders on her machine, one for personal and one for business, but did not know if it was possible to link the contacts that were the same in these two folders, so that if she updated a client in her business folder that she also wanted in her personal folder, it would update in both places.
As I said, I'm not sure if this is even possible, but I thought I'd at least go out and see if anyone else knew anything.
Let me know if you need anything clarified.
