Linking contacts with Excel

Hi there

Is there away of linking your Excel spreadsheet with your
contact list? E.g. If I click on a name in XL, I want
Excel to extract the information off my OL2K Contact List.

Does that make sense?

It makes sense, but it would take some custom VBA code. I haven't seen any sample to do exactly that, but if you want some basics on automating Outlook, you can start at http://www.slipstick.com/dev/vb.htm

FWIW, Office XP can handle this with the built-in Smart Tag feature. Might be worth upgrading.
