I'm using Word 2007. Is it possible, without using macros, to link the
contents of two separate Plain Text Content Controls. I am creating a
document template where a document reference code, among other "variables",
is displayed on the front page as well as in headers, and I would like that
the user could enter this code string in any one of the locations and it
would be automatically updated in the other.
I know this works for built-in document properties, like Title and Author
(e.g. Insert - Quick Parts - Document Properties - Title). But is there some
way to have the same functionality for custom document properties
(alternatively without using document properties at all)?
Another question: Are the Title and Tag fields in the Content Control
Properties dialog box used for anything... other than that the Title text
shows up in the document when the Content Control is selected?
