Linking Content Table to Another type of document

Hi,
I created a Manual using Word 2007 which contains a table of content. The
File, where I saved the Manual, lists only that document. Is there a way that
I can create word documents linked to the table of content so when the table
of content updates this names too also update? My idea will be:
File Manual contains:
- Manual Document
- Chapter I: Name of Chapter page
- Sectio I: Name of Section page
- Chapter II: Name of Chapter page
- Etc.
The idea of this is that when users open the Folder File Manual, they will
be able to see the whole manual as Manual Document and they will also see a
listing of the Chapters and pages where they can find the topics that they
are looking for without having to open the Manual Document.

Please let me know if my idea could can be feasible as well as if I will
need any other type of program to use; ppt, xls, etc. Thanks in advance!

You can insert RD fields pointing to other Word files; that way, the table
of contents will include items from those other files.

To insert each of the RD fields, use the Field dialog box (Insert tab |
Quick Parts | Field).

Note that RD fields are formatted as hidden, so if you want to insert them
manually (using Ctrl+F9), as suggested in the article, be sure to display
hidden text first.

Thank You very much Support Team for you’re quick response and assistance.
Nonetheless, what I am looking for is that my table of content updates the
name of a document. In other word, is there a way that each topic in my
table of content can be shown as the name of an individual document?
For example:
My Folder contains the following documents:
Manual .doc
Chapter 1 Verbs page 2.doc (this one was automatically created from the
table of content and it should change if this table changes).

Please let me know if this can be possible. Thank You!!!
