Here's the scenario. Worksheet1 has a column with
clients' names in it. I pasted a link to that column on
another worksheet in the same workbook. So, as I enter
new, or edit, names in the column on worksheet 1, those
changes are mirrored on worksheet2. (I want different
worksheets within the same workbook where I can enter
different kinds of data about the clients that I will list
in worksheet1.)
Here's my problem. If I sort column1 on worksheet1,
(i.e., clients' names from A-Z to Z-A) the data in the
linked column1 on worksheet2 mirrors that sort
accordingly. However, column2 on worksheet did not sort
relative to the clients' names. The row cells in column2
stay in place. In other words, Ann's number is now Zeke's
number because column2 data did not sort to stay relative
to the rows in column1.
How do I make this work?
