Linking Data - formatting issues!

I have a large Org Chart - roughly 200 shapes.

I need it to be static, so I linked my data. However, when I make changes to
my spreadsheet and then refresh the data, my formatting goes haywire.

Not only do my shapes move, Visio decides people have switched titles,
report to others, etc.

It's a MESS!

What am I doing wrong?

What version of Visio?
I assume that you created the Org Chart using the Org Chart Wizard?
What was the key column? The ReportsTo column?

If you have Visio 2007 Pro, then consider using the Data Linking to refresh
data.
